Après une introduction folklorique traditionnelle qui gagne en intensité, il nous attaque avec un black metal où les riffs musclés héritent de la tradition nordique. On salue à juste titre les albums qui accomplissent un tour de force : le premier album éponyme de Subterranean Disposition en fait cinq — un sur chaque piste, ni plus ni moins. En plus d'un death/doom metal très engageant qui plaira aux amateurs de My Dying Bride, il se démarque par ses excursions avant-gardistes qui s'intègrent parfaitement, tantôt folk, tantôt bruitistes voire jazz ! Et on peut même en rajouter un sixième : cet album est l'œuvre d'une seule personne ! C'est très ambitieux !
